Special prices and promotions for women in March 2010 for International Women's Day

To celebrate International Women’s day, Jet Airways is offering its women travellers special benefits and offers in March 2010.
 
Effective March 1 to March 31, 2010, every group with at least 1 woman traveller that makes bookings on the airline's website at jetairways.com, will enjoy a 10% discount on base domestic fares and a 5% discount on base international fares (excluding applicable taxes and surcharges), for First Class, Premiere or Economy travel on all routes operated by Jet Airways.

Rollercoasters and over-excited children ahoy as theme park perpares to open

Resorts World Sentosa today announced the opening date of Southeast Asia’s first Universal Studios theme park. The park will throw open its doors to the public on 18 March, so expect the school holidays to feature a mad rush for the rides.

Award-winning and ground-breaking new play to run in September now

The 2007 Olivier Award for Best New Play comes to Singapore with its daring tale of taboo love has been postponed. The lead actor in the play felt that he couldn't do the part justice and has pulled out. It's a great shame, as this is one of the few genuinely daring productions to be staged in Singapore and lets hope that it doesn't impact negatively on the Singapore Repertory Theatre. The production is mooted to go ahead in September.
