Qatar Airways has embarked on a 2010 expansion programme with the launch of new flights to an exciting range of business and leisure destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and South Asia. The new cities on the airline’s schedule include the Danish capital Copenhagen, and Ankara in Turkey. And, from 24 June, you can get to two more destinations in South America: the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, and Buenos Aires in Argentina. Two brand new Boeing 777-200 long-range aircraft will be deployed on the two South American routes. There is currently a Singapore-Bali special on offer with Qatar Airways, too.

BlueBiz, a new joint Air France and KLM corporate benefits programme for small and medium-sized business (SMEs and SMIs), is now available in Singapore. Members of the BlueBiz programme earn Blue Credits each time an employee travels on Air France or KLM. These credits can be converted into tickets and upgrades to any of the 258 destinations in the global network of the two airlines. It’s a simple scale: one Blue Credit is equal to one euro. Any company employee can use the credits to purchase tickets, and membership is free of charge.

Meanwhile, members of Flying Blue, the Air France and KLM frequent flyer programme, will continue to earn miles when travelling on the airlines. So, a manager of a registered small company in Singapore who travels twice a year from Singapore to Frankfurt 
to attend trade shows, perhaps combining the trip with a short holiday in London, will earn Blue Credits and Flying Blue Miles.
